Call-Back
with CLI or ANI
Normally
used with call-back calling cards with PINs. For the service to
work, our exchange must recognise or identify the telephone number
making the call. Some national carriers deliberately suppress or
block the CLI, which makes it impossible to receive a call-back
and use the service. We cannot therefore guarantee that it will
work from every country, and our CLI
Checker test should always be carried out to confirm whether
or not the CLI or the ANI is being presented from the country your
call-back customers are telephoning from. Here is a results
page for CLI from various countries. |
GSM Device
Where
CLI or ANI is not presented if an international number is called,
a local device can be used where the customer calls a local number
(landline or cellphone). This device will capture the CLI information,
and pass it through to our exchange. |
SMS
triggering
Where
CLI is not presented, call-back can be triggered with a text (SMS)
message. |
